The National GRIP (NGRIP) Labs is now open to all, providing deep-tech startups with specialised BSL-2 and Class 100 compliant facilities strategically embedded in the heart of Singapore's research and innovation hub.

With 1,312 sqm of purpose-built space, our sector-agnostic platform supports the full spectrum of deep-tech ventures—from advanced materials and space tech to biotechnology and food innovation.

Aligning with National GRIP's mission to transform research into market-ready solutions, our Labs is open to all deep-tech startups— both local and international (based in Singapore).

    Eligibility & Access

    Who is eligible to use NGRIP Labs?

    The NGRIP Labs is open to any individual or organisation requiring laboratory bench space for research and development activities. Access is not restricted to National GRIP participants. In addition to lab facilities, we offer a limited number of co-working office desks.

    Yes, we welcome incorporated startups from all countries. While priority is given to deep-tech startups based in Singapore, particularly National GRIP alumni, international companies are encouraged to apply.

    Facility Access & Operations

    What are the operating hours for the laboratory?

    The labs operate 24/7. All after-hours access must comply with our established safety protocols. Laboratory safety remains our highest priority at all times.

    Each laboratory bench accommodates up to four registered users, with a maximum of two users permitted in the lab simultaneously.

    Terms & Conditions

    What is the standard lease duration?

    Memberships are reviewed every six months. National GRIP startups receive priority consideration during the review process.

    Your fee includes $3 million in public liability insurance coverage, as well as protection for your property, laboratory equipment, and business interruption events. Users are required to provide workers' compensation insurance for each registered team member.
